Soccer in Brazil – Playing it with Rockhard Passion

It was the heat of the FIFA World Cup and I found myself in Brazil, the country whose name is almost synonymous to soccer.

At the opening day of the 2010 World Cup, I personally witnessed how Brazilians celebrated their soccer team like extreme fanatics – the whole country in high spirits, people cheering and dancing, and drum bands performing in streets adorned with Brazilian flags and Brazilian soccer team mementoes.

Soccer billboards all hail the country’s soccer team.

Wear one to show your support!

Live Life Like a Soccer Player

It is said that to a Brazilian child, the next thing he or she does after learning to walk is to play this game. No wonder this country was known to have the best soccer team in the world, the most number of World Cup’s won, and have the largest soccer stadium in the world!

The world seemed to stopped in Brazil. Local and tourists alike were glued watching the opening ceremonies, much more when the Brazilian Soccer Team plays.

“The Brazilian players play hard, and we support and cheer for them even harder,” said one Brazilian soccer fan whom I interviewed.

Rockhard passion – that is how Brazilians play their game.

Sports is much like life, you play your game with passion and you can win it – just like how the Brazilians do!

Go, go, go!
